Tinggal di Jakarta rasanya sulit
menemukan tempat menyepi sejenak dan pantai yang sepi terutama saat weekend.
Finding a place to chill out like
a private beach might become a hard thing for those who live in Jakarta,
especially on weekend.
Saya sudah beberapa kali
mendengar tentang Tanjung Lesung, area di Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten, namun
belum pernah terpikirkan sebelumnya untuk "mengintip" apa saja yang
ada di Tanjung Lesung.
I already heard about Tanjung
Lesung, Pandeglang area in Banten Province, for several times, but I never had
a thought to know more.
Perjalanan darat dari Jakarta
cukup lama, sekitar 4 jam, atau 5 jam jika menggunakan bus. Saya berharap tol
Serang-Panimbang secepatnya dibangun yang dapat memangkas waktu perjalanan
hingga 3 jam saja sehingga Tanjung Lesung menjadi sangat ideal untuk getaway beberapa hari dari kesibukan
Jakarta.
It’s about 4 to 5 hours long from
Jakarta by bus. But I hope Serang-Panimbang toll road can be finished soon so
it could be faster, only about 3 hours. This surely would make Tanjung Lesung
as a perfect getaway from the hustle-bustle of Jakarta even just for a couple
days.

Kami tiba di Tanjung Lesung dan
disambut deretan pohon besar berjajar yang membentuk kanopi di jalan besar dua
arah ini. Jalan utama ini merupakan akses masuk ke beberapa lokasi seperti
Beach Club dan Tanjung Lesung Beach Hotel.
When arrived at Tanjung Lesung, we
could see those big trees formed as a canopy alongside the large two-way
street. This main street is the gateway to some venue like Beach Club and
Tanjung Lesung Beach Hotel.

Pertama masuk langsung terasa
suasana seperti Bali, unit-unit cottage yang terpisah dengan jalanan bebatuan,
kehijauan rumput, danau teratai dan pohon-pohon besar. Tanjung Lesung Beach
Hotel terasa seperti hotel-hotel klasik di Bali pada tahun 1990-an, simpel,
asri dan nyaman. Unit-unit kamar ini dibangun di pesisir pantai sehingga dari cottage kita tinggal berjalan kaki ke
area pantai yang dipenuhi rumput hijau dan pohon-pohon kelapa.
As I walked in to Tanjung Lesung
Beach Hotel, for a while, I thought I was in Bali. The cottages units were
separated by cobblestones, greenish grass, lotus-lake, and big trees. Tanjung Lesung
Beach Hotel really has a taste of Bali classic hotels in 1990s, simple,
beautiful, and cozy. Rooms that built along the seashore makes it just need a
short walk from the cottage to reach the beach area full with green grass and palm
trees.
