I always love to stay in a place where you're surrounded by nature but without letting go the comfort. Who doesn't love to stay in a tent? Not me for sure, it's been my childhood obsession where I made some "tent" from bending bed mattress and covered it with blanket to make it.. a tent.

And now, I'm here in Belitung, staying at the nicest glam tent right in from of the sea. Billiton Beach Tent adalah properti baru yang menjadi bagian dari Billiton Hotel yang ada di Kota Tanjung Pandang. Saat saya datang, baru ada dua unit beach tent. Rencananya akan ada lebih dari 10 beach tent yang dibangun berjarak di sepanjang area di dekat garis pantai Tanjung Kelayang, Belitung ini.

Having the priviledge to spend time in this beach tent while it's still new is surely give much benefits: baru ada dua unit membuat setiap hari terasa sangat private, even feels like your own private beach tent karena tidak ada tamu lain saat kami ada di sana. Namun, bukan hanya itu saja yang menjadi poin favorit saya menginap di Billiton Beach Tent. Here are some reason why this place is the perfect chill glamping tent:

Did I said private before? Oh well, yes and surely it's something that feels expensive these days. Ingat kapan kalian terakhir kali ke pantai dan tidak ada seorangpun di sana? di Pantai Tanjung Kelayang di area persis di depan beach tent sangat sepi, hanya terkadang saja ada beberapa orang melintas. Kita dapat menikmati berjemur, bersantai dan menikmati laut yang terasa sangat private meskipun tidak jauh dari kota.

COMFORT IS STILL ON BOARD

Banyak yang menolak menginap di beach tent dengan satu alasan: tidak nyaman. "Tenda? tidurnya gimana? mandinya di mana?" dan beribu pertanyaan lain yang muncul dari membayangkan tidur di tenda. Well, Billiton Beach Tent lebih terasa seperti resort namun dengan atap "tenda." Bahkan ada air conditioner di dalam beach tent ini. Hmm? kapan saya terakhir kali menemukan AC di dalam tenda? never before haha, but surely we need the AC during hot days.

tips: nyalakan kipas angin saat anda menyalakan AC agar udara dingin berputar di dalam beach tent.

Bagaimana dengan kamar mandi? They have the outdoor shower dengan kayu dan bambu sebagai material utama di kamar mandi, bahkan pintu geser dari bambu menggunakan sistem sederhana (perhatikan butiran kelereng sebagai "roda" penggerak pintu).

FOODS ARE GREAT

Karena datang di masa-masa awal Billiton Beach Tent beroperasi, saya tidak berharap banyak dari segi service dan makanan. Biasanya dengan hanya dua unit yang beroperasi, management masih berupaya mengatur banyak hal. Namun di sini mereka sudah siap dengan menu makanan yang diatur sedemikian rupa oleh chef di Billiton Beach Tent. Every dinner feels like a fine traditional dining, dengan menu Indonesia yang menggugah selera dan penataan yang menyatu dengan alam.

Stand Up Paddleboarding? Swimming? Chill at the beach atau menikmati ayunan yang terendam air laut berwarna turquoise? semuanya bebas dinikmati. Spend a little more time going out, kita dapat berkeliling berbagai spot menarik di Belitung seperti island hopping, Pantai Tanjung Tinggi, atau ke Bukit Baginda.

JUST BEING LAZY

Everyone is hating lazy but for me, we need that sometimes especially when we just want to chill, just look at the view!

THE ART OF DOING NOTHING AT TRIZARA RESORTS, LEMBANG

Sometimes you just need a take a break and stop for a while

Sometimes you don't feel like doing nothing and it's completely okay

Sometimes stop and relax is a good idea

In this fast-paced world, let yourself take a deep breath

Take it easy; you will never outstrip the spinning world anyway

It was a three days of slow routine eventhough we had so much fun. Saya dan teman-teman menghabiskan waktu di Trizara Resort untuk merayakan ulang tahun Trinity, don't ask her age ;). Walaupun resort dengan konsep glamping yang berlokasi di Lembang ini menawarkan berbagai pilihan aktivitas, saya memilih untuk tidak mengambil satupun. I just want to relax, after all the busy schedule.. and it turns out, we all did the same.

It was a three days of slow routine even though we had so much fun. Me and my friends spent time in Trizara Resort to celebrate Trinity's birthday, do not ask her age;). Although the concept of glamping resort located in Lembang offers a wide choice of activities, I choose not to take any. I just want to relax, after all the busy schedule .. and it turns out, we all did the same.

So what we did in this comfortable fully service tent-resort? Good conversation and fun card game turned out to be our most enjoyable time, especially with these views. Dengan pemandangan perbukitan di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, tenda kami langsung mengarah ke kehijauan bukit. Trully relaxing view yang dapat dinikmati dari teras, ataupun ranjang di dalam tenda.

So what did we do in this comfortable fully service tent-resort? Good conversation and fun card game turned out to be our most enjoyable time, especially with these views. With views of the hills in West Bandung regency, our tent directly leads to the greenery of the hill. Trully relaxing view can be enjoyed from the terrace, or a bed in a tent.

Ide untuk membangun resorts ini bermula dari spot yang berada persis di bawah pohon besar di area piknik. Di sinilah Kunal, owner Trizara Resorts, membangun tenda sederhana untuk menikmati pemandangan bersama istrinya. Mereka jatuh cinta dengan suasana dan view yang ada, kemudian membangun resort dengan konsep glamping.

The idea to build the resorts of this starts from the spot which was directly under a large tree in the picnic area. This is where Kunal, owner Trizara Resorts, build a simple tent to enjoy the scenery with his wife. They fell in love with the atmosphere and the view is, and then build a resort with the concept of glamping.

This resort is a really nice option to have a short getaway, to enjoy the scenery, to slow down a bit from your busy life, because sometimes, you need that. So do I :)
